At this event our mission was to clean up the damage caused by some zealous beavers that felled over 100 trees along the shores of a popular lake in Arvada. The trees were blocking the waking path and were quite unsightly. Prior to our arrival the beavers had been relocated so we did not have to meet up with any mad beavers!

Youth and mentors combined to tackle the project thanks to the equipment and know how donated by the Family Tree Service, and Patriot Tree Service, both local tree companies. The youth dragged trees, chopped them into manageable portions and fed them into tree chippers. The project was finished by planting 30 new trees along the shores of the lake!
