Camping? In the winter? Only at Hunting For Purpose!  We headed up to Golden State Park for an overnight stay full of laughter and fun. We arrived to our campsite in the afternoon on Saturday and began to setup camp. The kids were shocked by our amenities! Huge canvas tents equipped with stove heaters! The boy's tent was so big it doubled as a kitchen and dining room, with two full-sized picnic tables in the tent! We had a relaxed afternoon and enjoyed the outdoors - a few of us went on a winter hike down to the valley while others stayed at camp and just hung out. We enjoyed a gourmet spaghetti dinner and had roasted starburst for dessert! Later in the evening we attempted a bonfire and discussed the idea of passion -What is passion? Where do our passions come from? How do our passions mold and shape us? Everyone was involved and had great input. After an hour or so the wind and snow kicked up and we were forced to move the party inside. We played games, talked and then turned in around 10:00. The next morning we decided to leave early as the conditions were windy and cold.  The trip was a great success! All of the youth had a great time and friendships were built.
